I've decided to opt for a new blog in respect of my old pet doggy Ben. During the time when the house was doggyless, we searched for a dog but couldn't come around to get another one which is suitable.
The previous one though ferocious yet very respectful of it's master, any stranger will no doubt get the fiercest incessant furious bark and baring of it's teeth. Other dogs don't seem right, too friendly. Don't know why we don't seem to have any more stamina to get a new one, we just don't seem to find the link there.
Anyway after some time, I managed to work at this society with the 200 or more dogs. When I first went there, goodness..... the smell there was very thick! Mostly by dogs that has never been bathed.... and straight away I knew that my intention was to bath them but of course I needed time to adjust to the new surroundings and also for the dogs to get accustomed to this new skinny looking guy.
Actually frankly to say, the specification of my post at that time has nothing to do with bathing any of the dogs pheww...... what a smell. The only time when a dog gets a bath is when someone has booked a dog which is a terrible aspect as far as it goes for me. Anyway, there were tons of work to do as there was only limited staff available.
Most of the time is feeding, cleaning the more than 2o pens and the individual dog cages. The worst would normally come whenever the fierce dog that are vary of strangers........ How-ah?
I will continue tomorrow.

Of course the best option that I could ever take was to bath only friendly dogs but I was working there part time in the beginning and the most busy time is in the morning where all the dogs will be howling for breakfast!
Their breakfast meal will consist of egg, milk and nestum. Can't tell you the formula as... I have totally forgotten about it. Anyway the breakfast is at 6:45am. No joke! The manager comes in early in the morning and leaves at mid morning. Sometimes the manager would come in at about 2pm to 3pm.
But before those time, work was quite tough. But thank goodness, I wasn't involved with the cat section. Phew..... the cat's pooh, one of the smelliest in the animal kingdom! And what's more, there are about 200 cats in the huge big pen.
Will continue tomorrow......

A bit on the cats though I am not a cat guy. Anyway I must admit one thing, now a days even the mixed breed cat, they are being pampered so much that they don't even bother about rats! This is very true!
The place where I work, as the animal food is kept in the storeroom, there are bound to have rats. Sometimes one can even see rats running across the field triumphantly! Ah... but I must comment that of all the hundreds of cats we have, there are only a few real cunning ones who is able to venture out of the cat pen, for what? For sport to catch a prey, like the gladiators! Only thing is that it doesn't eat them.
In the beginning one of the cat caretaker told me about a cat allowing baby rats to feed off the cats own milk! I could never believe it until one day he really showed it to me and told me the cunning tale about why she does this. The reason is to fatten up the mice before preparing them for dinner! How did the cat do this in a pen of 200 cats? Hmm.... can't remember that part of memory, only this unbelievable story as I have always rebuffed the cat taker for this funny tale.

Ah! yes.... guess I must have forgotten where the cat would put the rat since he/she never eats them. Everytime after catching a rat, that guy would always place that rat near the back door of the staff house!
And what's more, the cat would be able to run back to the covered cat's pen! How? Of all the 200 or more cats, this cat is an exceptional escape artist! Though I have no liking for cats, especially when they like to sharpen their claws on your back. Aggh! I hated it. Everytime they want to put their paws on your back, you have to brush it off if you don't want your shirt to be shredded.
Enough of cat story. I'll be back wthe ith a new blog soon, haven't figure out a name for it yet. But will keep you informed.
